The first teaser trailer for Solo: A Star Wars Story put our minds at ease over the film—at least somewhat. Rumors swirled late last year that the film wasn’t exactly firing on all cylinders, and when you couple that with the fact that blowing the origin story of one of our all-time favorite characters would be devastating, well, we almost thought it better to skip the film altogether. Now, after viewing the official trailer, we’re ready to pull up MoviePass. Alden Ehrenreich stars as Han Solo, and while this is only a small glimpse, he seems to have the mannerisms and sense of humor down pat. The buzz, of course, swirls around Donald Glover as a young Lando Calrissian, and he gets a solid amount of screen time in this two-minute trailer. We’re coming around to this one.
