As soon as the Dun Dun Dun from the Mission Impossible soundtrack starts playing, you’re immediately hooked… regardless of the fact that it’s the sixth installment of agent Ethan Hunt doing some completely ridiculous shit that is in no way possible for any human being. And really, that’s kind of the intrigue of the Mission Impossible series as a whole. Tom Cruise, Ving Rhames and Simon Pegg step back into the roles they’ve been perfecting over the last two decades to create another film that isn’t particularly thought-provoking but absolutely delivers on the action front. In this particular installment, it’s more of the same popcorn time you’ve come to know and love. Tom Cruise jumps out of and crashes all kinds of things. Henry Cavill’s mustache isn’t digitally removed. Rhames and Pegg make funnies. Someone is trying to kill Tom Cruise. Tom Cruise blows more shit up, jumps out of more things, and crashes more vehicles. What’s not to love about what’s sure to be one of summer’s best movies? Mission: Impossible – Fallout hits theaters at the end of July.

Vaer has been one of our favorite watchmakers for as long as we can remember because they produce new, classic watches based on iconic designs. Case in point, the Vaer G5 Meridian watch you see here. This timepiece is a 1950s-inspired 20ATM automatic watch that’s USA-assembled, dual timezone, built with ocean-ready functionality, self-winding and the brand’s first true GMT (the latest version of their core dive watch design). What’s more, it pays homage to other watches that are incredibly more expensive or hard to come by whilst also adding new aspects that makes this Vaer G5 Meridian watch more desirable than the other options in our opinion.
