Over the years, we’ve covered more than a few great off-the-grid Airbnb rentals that allow you to experience the environs of the world on a quest to add a few more notches of exploration on your belt. They’re all great, don’t get us wrong, but few of them compare to what you’ll get from the Ngala Treehouse Expereince. Situated in the remote, yet safe retreat in the middle of the African bush, this secluded, 4-story treehouse is removed from Wi-Fi, artificial light and the trappings of other on-grid locations. While it’s secluded from the technological offerings of the modern world, it’s covered, weatherproof, luxurious and complete with king-size bed, running water (including flushing toilets!) and cocktails, so it has all of the modern creature comforts you’ve come to expect in a location that will give you more photographs than your iCloud storage can handle. It’s a wilderness experience like no other and one that, frankly, we’d love to experience for ourselves.
