Here’s your first look at You Were Never Really Here, which sees Phoenix play the role of a violent enforcer on a mission to rescue a missing girl. We’re fans of a lot of Joaquin Phoenix-led movies, and a seven-minute standing ovation at Cannes sure makes us think this is the next film of his we’ll love. You Were Never Really Here hits theaters in April of next year.
