Konstantin Bogdanov is a Russian living in Ekaterinburg that is absolutely obsessed with scale models. His latest project is a scratch built, 1/6 scale 1961 Dodge D100 truck that, if we’re being completely honest, looks better than some of the full-size restorations we’ve seen. The project took a solid year to complete and involved materials ranging from styrene and aluminum foil to 3D-printed polyamide and plywood. The artist recorded every step of the project and released a full 40+ minute project diary on YouTube in case you have all the materials and equipment, Bogdanov’s incredible modeling skills, and you’re crazy enough to tackle the project. Even though it’s not an RC truck, it’s still one we’d happily display in the office if he was willing to part with this fantastic piece of automotive art.
