The cars that provided child you with endless hours of automobile entertainment are also stylish collectors items. Sometimes all they need is a little TLC. Redline Restoration proved as much with its recent work on a 1968 Custom Deora, transforming it from an aging toy into a nearly pristine display piece (or toy). The hardest part of the restoration seems to be the disassembly and reassembly, as there’s some drilling involved, but the paint removal and applications look simple enough and the rest is just sanding and polishing. By the end, the Deora looks ready to retake the beach.
