Tubecore Duo Is The Only Tube-Powered Bluetooth Speaker

Marrying analog and digital technologies hardly ever comes out the way most people intended it to. When it comes to audio, this is incredibly unfortunate because there’s nothing quite like the sounds that come out of a tube driven amplifier. At the same time, there’s nothing less convenient than being bound to one location for audio because of cables. Tubecore tackled this with their hugely successful Duo Kickstarter, and now the Duo is available for purchase. The Duo is designed around a powerful Class A Tube preamp and twin 4″ titanium drivers. There are also custom tube upgrades available in their shop. In other words, it’s packing better sound equipment than your first car. It’s also bluetooth and WiFi capable, and has a Raspberry Pi computer for XBMC Media Center. Everything is housed in a hand-built tone wood case.
