Oddball Has a Drum Machine Crammed Inside

Oddball Has a Drum Machine Crammed Inside

At the most basic level, Oddball is a drum machine crammed into a delightfully bouncy ball that allows you to play with it and create your own musical masterpiece. The ball itself functions as the percussion trigger with sensors inside that recognize every time you bounce it off a surface. After you pair it with the app on your phone via Bluetooth, that information is used to play a sound through headphones or speakers. Because Oddball is pressure sensitive, harder bounces have a more intense sound and softer ones are more delicate. Once you have a bunch of beats in your phone, you can loop them together, add effects or even play your creations over your favorite songs. It’s like a combination of a stress ball and a fidget toy that also allows you to make some pretty sick beats in the process—even if you have absolutely no experience making music.
