Nest Cam IQ

Everyone’s favorite smart home gadget manufacturer is back with a new version of the Nest Cam. Nest Cam IQ takes everything that made previous versions great (easy setup, ease of use, quality) and upgrades it with better hardware and an intelligence system you can train. This time around, the home security camera has a 6-core processor, 802.11ac Wi-Fi with a 2×2 MIMO chip, 4K sensor with HDR, 3-microphone array, more powerful speaker and infrared LEDs. Once all that hardware is turned into the camera and hooked up to the software you’ll be able to talk to your kids, your pets or yell at intruders while you watch remotely. You’ll get alerts on your phone when motion is detected, and Supersight can zoom in on the action automatically. You can even train the Nest Cam IQ to recognize familiar faces when you’re using the Nest app if you have a Nest Aware subscription. The only thing the Nest Cam IQ won’t do is automatically call the police or the fire department in case of an emergency.
