I’m ambivalent when it comes to the robotic age we’re living through. Sometimes it alarms me how fast we’re moving by way of AI. But, with that said, I can’t deny the that Meticulous has created a robot that I’d happily invite into my home, making space in my kitchen next to my Alexa and my Roomba, of course.
Utilizing ten digital sensors, this espresso maker monitors and adjusts the temperature, pressure, and even weight of the liquid to ensure that each brew matches your desired temperature to reduce any human error in the process. Not only does it take the guesswork out of the process, it has an accompanying app to finetune the brew to your exact specifications, making it a bespoke experience with every shot pulled.
With a design that matches the futuristic cup of joe, it’s easy to see a brand like Meticulous taking over the market share in high-end, tech-integrated brewing. And I’d gladly welcome our robot overlords as long as I get my Americano in the morning.
