If you’ve been holding out for a cheaper tablet, your wait is over. Amazon has officially entered the ring with Kindle Fire. Not just another e-reader, the Kindle Fire features a full color 7” hi-res display for watching movies and tv shows, browsing the web and playing Angry Birds. As a bonus, Amazon Prime members have free access to unlimited streaming of more than 10,000 movies and TV shows. And luckily storage isn’t a big issue because Amazon lets you keep your digital content in the Amazon Cloud. So bottom line—what’s the major difference between the Kindle Fire and the iPad 2? About 2.7 inches of screen, 8 GB of memory and $300. Sounds like a good choice, assuming you don’t HAVE to have an Apple logo on every device own.
