When you consider the eyesore that is the average home security camera, you’d almost rather roll the dice on someone breaking in. The clunky, blinking cameras you stick in every corner of your home are slowly being replaced by more aesthetically pleasing ones, but none of them touch the Hive View. Yves Béhar, the designer behind such sleek products as the original JAMBOX and the SodaStream Source, helped create what is easily the most attractive home security camera on the market. Hive View is a detachable camera that stays in place thanks to magnets embedded in the stand. It boasts a 130° field of view, 1080p HD, and it sends alerts to your phone when it detects movement or sound. In reality, it does a lot of what other good home security cameras on the market do, only it does it while looking damn good in the process.
