Dune Pro Is a New PC Case Designed to Look like a Mac Pro

The recently unveiled update to the Mac Pro is, quite frankly, the best looking computer we’ve ever seen. While the hardware inside is certainly impressive to say the least, it’s the souped up cheese grater style case that makes us seriously consider the $6,000 sticker price it’s going to carry when it gets released. There’s a better alternative if you want a case as ingenious and good looking as the Mac Pro and you’re willing to build the computer itself. It’s called the Dune Pro, and it’s coming to Kickstarter later this month. What’s on the inside since it doesn’t come with any of the computer parts you need to work or game? A high-quality stainless steel frame that doubles as handle and feet that’s surrounded with precision aluminum that’s sandblasted for a perfect finish. There’s also enough space for all of the high-end hardware you need, a watercooling setup, and enough hard drive space to run a server (3x HDDs and 5x SSDs). Unfortunately, we won’t have pricing or availability information until the Dune Pro case hits Kickstarter on October 21st.
