Have you ever wanted to build a turntable? Spinbox is a DIY Record Player unlike anything else on the market. The box that will ultimately become your Spinbox turntable comes with everything you need to build a functioning cardboard record player in under twenty minutes with a handful of easy steps. Take apart the box. Install all the components. Rebuild the cardboard (same packaging material as Apple products) box. Seat the platter and the knob. Add record and power. The built-in amplifier and two speakers will be pumping out anything you have in 33/45/78 RPM on 7/10/12 inch vinyl. The entire unit is powered from a Micro-USB power input, which means you can hook your Spinbox up to a portable battery backup and use it on the go… assuming you’re cool carrying around all those precious records. Spinbox will be launching a Kickstarter in the near future with multiple options for exterior designs and details. Price and availability will be released with the campaign.
