There was a time when we spent all our waking hours researching camo-skinned cars, the latest whiskey drops, and other interesting pieces of ephemera, but that’s all since been replaced with the wide and crazy world of sneaker drops. Drops like Virgil Abloh’s Off-White x Nike Blazer Low set for “some point” later this summer. Like all other Off-White offerings, it focuses on the construction / materials as the focal point which, in this particular case, are the zip ties, tags and exterior, bright green cord laces. For additional effect, both the black traditional laces and the neon green cord options feature Off-White appropriate markings that, suitably for the brand, read “SHOELACES” in respective contrasting colors. The Virgil Abloh Off-White Blazer Lows will be available in both White / University Red and Black / Green colorways with overlapping lacing, circular cutouts, retooled heel pieces, plastic inserts, and colored speckles. Pricing, availability, and exact drop date have yet to be revealed.
