There’s a lot to love about a Timex watch. They’re stylish enough that can wear them all the time and affordable enough that you could just replace them instead of changing the battery, but they’re also durable enough to last forever. As a brand, they’re no stranger to collaborations having previously worked with a range of partners from the likes of Todd Snyder to Peanuts. Which brings us to the Timex x Nigel Cabourn Referee Watch you see here. For his latest masterpiece with Timex, Cabourn sought inspiration in his childhood love of football (aka soccer) and the referee stopwatches of the period, so he color-blocked 3/4 of the interior of the dial bright red to signify the 45 minute half time of a match. The unique cream and red face is protected by a MK1 40mm stainless case and a domed acrylic crystal. The Referee Watch also comes with two NATO style slip-thru straps: a two-tone ‘claret and blue’ football colors in nylon and a classic black leather option from S.B. Foot Tanning Co.
