Does anyone else remember the Benny Benassi video for “Satisfaction” that came out a few years ago and romanticized industrial power tools in a way Bosch, Dewalt or Makita never could? The video for the new Stone collection from Shwood is like that, but without the girls. It’s straight-up Chevy “Like a rock” sort of stuff, but even more manly and real. Same universally flattering and slightly retro vibe as Shwood’s previous wood collections, but this one also include slate. Genuine slate in white or black, fused to premium Birch wood and outfitted with hand-poured pewter inlays. Each of the 200 limited edition pairs comes in a custom felt pouch with an embroidered leather patch. Sunglasses, with stone, that you can wear on your face. Stone!
