25 years ago, in 1995, Michael Jordan debuted the Air Jordan XI after returning to the court from his first retirement. Two-and-a-half decades later, Nike is celebrating that return to form with a pair of Air Jordan XI kicks that pay homage to the GOAT. The Air Jordan XI Jubilee is a modern interpretation of the classic with iconic Jumpman and JORDAN detailing that references the past. On the flip-side is the Air Jordan XI Adapt that fuses Nike’s modern laceless technology with Tinker Hatfield’s original designs to create a pair of sneakers that truly bridges the gap between past and present. One thing’s for sure–either version is a front runner for sneaker of the year, so pick them up if you can. The Nike Air Jordan XI Adapt sneakers go on sale December 30th through the SNKRS app. Pricing and availability details have yet to be confirmed, but rumors put the price at around $500/pair for the Adapt version.
