HODINKEE and Swatch Teamed Up to Make an Affordable Watch With Style

We love reading HODINKEE, the site dedicated to serious watch coverage, but we’d be lying if we said it didn’t feel a tad cost prohibitive. As much as we enjoy reading about them, we can’t afford a huge collection of Rolex, Patek Philippe, and Cartier timepieces. The result is the Sistem51 Blue Edition, a contemporary timepiece with simple, old-school elements. It’s fun and playful without being goofy. The hand-drawn numerals on the face are an ode to classic dress watches of the 1940s, so while this Swatch is modern, it’s also rooted in history.
