The wait for the latest iteration of the Ford Bronco is almost over with an official debut on the horizon within the next year. As excited as we are for one of our favorite trucks to be returning, we doubt it’s going to be outfitted like what we covered in the what we know so far about the 2020 Ford Bronco post, which means we’re still yearning for old school Bronco restorations. Restorations like the 1969 Supercharged Classic Ford Bronco from Velocity Restorations you see here. Velocity checked off all the boxes you’d expect in a great restomod: custom paint, hand-built roll cage, bigger wheels and knobby tires, and a top-to-bottom interior refresh including heated and cooled seats in diamond-stitched leather. It’s a sinister looking street beast that could do double duty as a crawler, and we haven’t even gotten into the performance yet. Instead of just restoring the original engine to working condition, Velocity crammed in a 5.0-liter Coyote V8 crate motor with a Whipple 2.9-liter supercharger. For the record, that means this Bronco has a supercharger that’s larger than the original engine this truck had in it.
