Twisted Automotive Is Remaking History with Restomod Land Rover Defenders

Twisted Automotive Is Remaking History with Restomod Land Rover Defenders

There have been a lot of great auctions, beautiful restomods and mind-blowing rebuilds of Vintage SUVs in the past few years. Picking a favorite is never easy, but if you told us we had to pick just one make and model and drive it for the rest of our lives it would be a Land Rover Defender. Despite the fact that the Defender is coming back, the new versions don’t have the same je ne sais quoi of the original. The team at Twisted Automotive agreed, which is why they started building limited run restomods as part of their Remake History program. Each one of six different models they’re rebuilding includes modern upgrades in the mechanical (engine performance, better suspension, chassis protection, steering, etc.) and cosmetic departments while still maintaining that iconic look of the original that everyone knows and loves. Twisted’s Classic Series 1 is already sold out, but there are still examples of the Classic Series II, Classic Series IIA, Lightweight, Classic Series III and Stage One V8 available if you act quickly.
