Sebring Winning 1974 BMW 3.5 CSL IMSA “Batmobile” Auction

Sebring Winning 1974 BMW 3.5 CSL IMSA “Batmobile” Auction

When it comes to tuner brands you can trust to take your performance vehicles and make them even better, there are few shops we’d trust as much Alpina–especially when it comes to BMWs. For as long as we can remember–going back almost four decades–Alpina has been transforming BMWs into even better versions of themselves whether it’s a 1987 BMW Alpina B7 Turbo Coupé/3, a 1982 BMW Alpina B7 S Turbo Sedan or something like the Sebring Winning 1974 BMW 3.5 CSL IMSA “Batmobile” you see here. This particular vehicle is schedule to head across the auction block in early 2021 and features a 3.5-liter M49 engine, “dog leg” 5-speed C/R transmission, full race interior, adjustable race suspension and 4-wheel ATE disc brakes that allowed it to run rings around the competition over the decades it was raced. The Sebring Winning 1974 BMW 3.5 CSL IMSA “Batmobile” will be available at auction in about a month on January 22nd, 2021. Learn more at the link below.
