Peugeot E-Legend Concept

Peugeot E-Legend Concept

The Peugeot 504, produced from the late ’60s to early ’80s, is probably the automaker’s most famous and recognizable model. The former flagship helped guide the direction of the brand for many years, and it apparently still does today, as this new E-Legend Concept draws heavily from the beefy bodied vehicle of yesteryear. The concept is designed with two autonomous modes and two manual modes. In both autonomous modes, the steering wheel retracts under the sound bar as the seats recline and the armrests deploy, turning the interior into a spacious lounge. In Soft mode, the projections on the displays are reduced, offering a calming environment. In Sharp mode, digital activities come to the forefront, allowing connection of social networks, calendars, and more. Of course there will come times when you actually want to drive your car, and for that reason Peugeot is incorporating the two manual modes, each displaying your info in different ways. Everything is powered by the 100% electric power train, with 100 kWh batteries. If this is what the autonomous future looks like, sign us up.
