Own this 1970 International Harvester Scout 800

There are a lot of good looking modern trucks on the market, but few of them will age as beautifully as the 1970 International Harvester Scout 800 you see here. Up for auction on Bring a Trailer, this particular Scout is powered by a 304ci V8 mated to a four-speed manual gearbox and a dual-range transfer case. It also some upgrades in the form of power steering, dual exhaust, Eagle Alloys wheels and a rebuilt carburetor, oil pump and water pump. To finish it off, the body and removable hardtop were finished with a green paint job a handful of years ago. The auction ends the afternoon of July 8th, so don’t wait to get a bid in if you want this for your garage. Even if you miss the gavel drop, this is a sterling example of what is possible with this often overlooked platform. It also gets bonus points in the photography and location departments because now we want a a giant digger, too.
