Mini Vision Urbanaut Concept

Mini Vision Urbanaut Concept

BMW has released more than a few interesting concepts in the past handful of years, but few of them compare to the sheer absurdity that is the recently unveiled Mini Vision Urbanaut Concept. Designed from the inside out as the BMW group’s futuristic take on the popular #vanlife trend, the Mini Vision Urbanaut Concept aims to let you create your own little home away from home wherever you are. The sleek exterior down to the tires make liberal use of the ocean-themed colors and integrates interactive lighting you can control. The real star of the show is the adjustable interior that includes “curated Mini moments” split into the Chill, Wanderlust and Vibe settings that change interior ambiance, seating configuration and connectivity, along with the four seat layout with dashboard that converts to daybed, the “street balcony” created by opening the windshield vertically and the “Cosy Corner” in the rear of the vehicle. While it certainly seems more like pop-up shop outdoor lounge area, it opens a number of possibilities for the future of mobility.
