Italian bike shop Matteucci Garage might be a small shop, but they’ve produced quite a few drool-worthy bikes over the years. While Marco Matteucci is the first to admit that he’s more curator / enthusiast / photographer than bike builder, all the bikes that roll out of the shop that bears his name are exceptional. Case in point, the Matteuci Garage Honda NX650 Dominator dubbed Dakhla. The dual-sport bike has a complete set of angular, gold-style bodywork (it’s actually matte sand-colored finish, but it looks great regardless) that Matteuci first built out of cardboard before having it laser cut from 3mm thick aluminum. The impressive bike is also fitted with upgrades like Koso instrumentation, ASV levers, Beringer brakes, inverted Marzocchi front-end and custom logos, leather seat and exhaust. This is one bike we’d be happy to ride on a tour of the Western Sahara city it’s named for.
