Kahn Land Rover Defender 2.2 Chelsea Wide Track

Kahn Land Rover Defender 2.2 Chelsea Wide Track

Kahn Design / Project Kahn / Chelsea Truck Company have been turning great vehicles into exceptional ones for as long as we’ve been reporting on them. They’ve colored outside the lines with Jeeps and McLarens, but our favorite builds of theirs tend to be their Land Rover creations. Case in point: the Kahn Land Rover Defender 2.2 Chelsea Wide Track truck you see here. It might not be as batshit crazy as the Flying Huntsman 6×6 in terms of wheels, appointment or price tag, but whatever this one lacks in craziness it more than makes up for in solid design, clean lines and approachability. The 2014 Diesel Defender has gotten the full Kahn treatment inside and out with new grills, wings, wheels and a completely new interior featuring diamond-stitched leather on everything from the front and rear seats to the glovebox. Finished in a combination of gloss, matte and satin blacks, this is a murdered out ride that’s anything but monochrome.
