We love the motos that come out of Austrian builder Vagabund Moto’s shop because they take something already great and make it stratospheric. They recently unveiled the V15 (their 15th project) that was built for a customer who wanted no limits. The base bike was a BMW R nineT, which was then fully customized with hand-formed metalwork, 3D-printed parts, and a crazy Motogadget digital dashboard that reveals itself via remote control. The beautiful matte grey paint, called Selenite Grey Magno, comes courtesy of Mercedes-Benz. Underneath, you’ll find a custom subframe, a 3D-printed housing for the remote, a credit-card wallet, and a Leatherman multi-tool and pouch. On top, there’s a perforated leather seat, ample amounts of blackened bits, and a silhouette that’s hulking and ready to eat up the pavement. It’s just too bad there’s only one.
