‘The Many Saints of Newark’ Is a Prequel to ‘The Sopranos’

It’s been over 10 years since Tony, Carmela, Paulie, and the rest of the gang appeared on screen, which is approximately how much time we needed to deal with that ending. Now, having come to terms with the way The Sopranos closed up shop, we’re ready for more Jersey mob life, and David Chase is happy to appease. Penned by Chase, The Many Saints of Newark is a prequel film to the groundbreaking HBO series.
