Tamarit Motorcycles 109 Helios Project

Spanish moto workshop Tamarit Motorcycles is at it again. This time, it’s a bike called the 109 Helios Project, and it’s oozing vintage cafe racer ethos in the best of ways. The bike begins as a Triumph Thruxton 900, but very little of the original bike remains. The original engine receives a full refurbishing, and it gets full exposure for all to see. The fairing, tank, and body get clad in a special paint that’s a perfect sun god orange, and plenty of chrome, and bits of gold and cream highlights break things up. The single leather seat matches the Tamarit badges and gets fully embedded into the elongated tank. The special double headlights are housed within the front fairing for optimal aerodynamics and effect, surrounded by more cream trim. Other touches include handmade heat shields on the exhaust, 17″ and 18″ Victory wheels, a lenticular rim on the rear wheel that reduces turbulence, and a rear mono shock absorber. Bespoke bits like the Kustom Tech levers and Motogadget handlebar switches round out the set. The Helios is one of the most stunning custom bikes we’ve ever laid eyes on. As far as we know, it’s not up for sale (yet).
