If we were to compile a list of our favorite museums across the world, LA’s Petersen Automotive Museum would most certainly be near the top. Their latest exhibition dedicated to all things motoring is ADV:Overland developed with the Motorcycle Arts Foundation. This unique exhibit is all about the adventure vehicles that helped drive long-distance, round-the-world and off-world exploration (yes, it’s not just limited to Earth) for over a century from 1903 to 2020. Whether it’s kitted out long haul motorcycles, cars built for anything or even models of the Mars Rover direct from NASA/JPL, if you love history, overlanding and the vehicles that made cross country, globe-circling travel possible, you’ll want to check this out. The Petersen Automotive Museum ADV:Overland Exhibition is open now through March 27th, 2022 with a special opening evening on Thursday, July 15th. [The Hollywood Dream Machines exhibit is open through the end of August, so check that out while you’re there.]
