Iconic marquee MINI is celebrating the 60th anniversary of the team-up between the brand and John Cooper with a limited edition line of special 3-door options. The MINI Cooper 60th Anniversary Edition Car will be available in 3-door, S 3-Door and John Cooper Works models that are all equipped with the latest race modern tech and nostalgic elements that throw back to the original. These include, but are not limited to, contrasting British racing green metallic paint with white accents, special-edition emblems, a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine with 228bhp and a 153mph top speed, and multiple recurring instances of the number 74, the starting number the classic MINI Cooper wore during it’s race heyday. They took the 74 significance even further by limited the production run to 740 total units worldwide across all three model sets, so if you’re interested in one, it’s best to find your local MINI dealer and start begging now.
