Swedish manufacturer Husqvarna makes everything from robotic lawnmowers to e-bikes to motorcycles. Their latest venture is an electric scooter geared toward the urban commuter. The Vektorr Concept’s stout and modern aesthetic smartly eschew the typical low-rent scooter look by replacing it with angular styling, chunky tires, and some well-placed pops of color. The important bits include a single-sided front suspension, single-sided rear swingarm, mono rear shock, a swingarm-mounted motor with a transmission that eliminates chains or belts, LED daytime running light, and a digital display. The range will be 59 miles, and the Vektorr’s top speed maxes out at 28 mph–perfect for in-city rides. Look for the Vektorr to start production sometime next year.
