A two-wheeled Ducati for less than $500? Yes, and no. First of all, it’s an electric scooter, so it’s no Panigale V4. Second, it’s only branded with the Ducati name, so it’s not the real deal. In fact, the Pro-I Evo is part of Ducati’s Urban e-Mobility line that’s built by MT Distribution, who builds Xiaomi scooters, under a Ducati licensing agreement. The branding is all over the stem using the Ducati name and badge, as well as ample amounts of red trim. The e-scooter gets a 350-watt motor, a 36V battery, an aluminum alloy frame, LED display, brake and throttle levers, and folding handlebars. It tops out at 15.5 mph, so it’s the only Ducati that’s actually slower than a pedaled bicycle.
