We’re of the belief that every person should know basic life-saving techniques. From doing the Heimlich to applying a tourniquet, certain pieces of knowledge spread among the population benefit society as a whole. When it comes to CPR, one of the tricks to doing it properly is doing it at the right pace. That’s why NewYork-Presbyterian created this clever Spotify playlist. Each of the songs is performed at a rate of 100/120 beats per minute, which is the BPM for appropriate CPR. While we think it’s a bit crazy to pull up a playlist the moment you need to act, we do think it’s something you could listen to and get a hang for the speed with a little practice.
