Lest you think the formal name for Larry wouldn’t work for a motorcycle, the inspiration for the Brough Superior “Lawrence” comes from famous author, archaeologist, diplomat, and adventurer, T.E. Lawrence and his trusty dagger. Yep, this powerful 103-hp two-wheeler’s design cues come from the Bedouin-style dagger Lawrence often carried on his belt. Its long, sleek carbon-fiber tank, bladed front and rear forks, and steely finish evoke Lawrence of Arabia style full throttle. The oft controversial figure also rode Brough Superior motos, and he even died while riding one. The bittersweet but bold homage bike will be made in limited numbers (188) for a high price ($80,000).
