While the changing of the calendar year to 2022 will mark the end of the nonsense from the past few years for most of us, it also marks the 50 year anniversary for BMW’s M Performance division. BMW M Series vehicles have always outperformed even their German brethren in the class, but this time around, the 50th Anniversary versions are getting throwback badges, special color options, and an as-of-yet-unreleased “high-performance” M model that is rumored to be the first electrified version of the series. We can’t wait to see what BMW’s M series has for us next because we can’t wait to slide into the driver’s seat of any of the latest M releases–particularly these new electrified options.
