If most of us happened upon a crumbling building in Greenpoint we probably wouldn’t deem it picture worthy and just move on with our lives. But not graffiti artist Greg Suits, aka suitswon. Suits saw the building with a giant gaping hole divided by a support in the middle and set to work transforming the space into a skull mural. The end result is a picture-perfect combination of art and architectural decay that even art critics would probably say something nice about and photographer Raphael Gonzalez was more than happy to document for posterity sake. We just like it because it looks really damn cool. Check out more work from suitswon on his Instagram and works from photographer Raphael Gonzalez on his Instagram or his site.
