If you and some friends want to catch a few waves but aren’t anywhere near the surf, consider booking the Truck Surf Hotel, a mobile surfing getaway that takes you right to the edge of the water. The truck takes you and a handful of guests to the coast of Portugal or Morocco, where you’ll wake up each morning to a buffet-style breakfast, stunning views, and plenty of ideal surf. A converted Mercedes Actros, the Truck Surf Hotel boasts a hydraulic system that allows the vehicle to expand into a two-floor living space. The first floor features a living room decked out with couches and an eating space, bathroom with a shower, and a small kitchen. The door opens to a terrace with bean bag chairs to enjoy the sunset after a long day on the water. Upstairs you’ll find five rooms, four of which have bunk beds. Of course, should you book a stay, we imagine you won’t spend too much time indoors.
