Treehotel, a resort in the woods of northern Sweden that’s built into the trees themselves, recently unveiled 7th Room, an adult treehouse designed by architecture firm Snøhetta. Designed and built to almost seamlessly integrate into the surrounding forest, 7th Room includes two bedrooms, large panoramic views, skylights and enough space for five people with no sacrifices in the creature comforts department even though you’re ten meters up in the trees. The entire underside of the cabin is covered with a life-sized photograph of the treetops as they looked before the cabin was built, so the entire space blends into the background. It’s one helluva weekend getaway if you’re planning on spending any time in Sweden.
