You Have Another Chance to Own Sir Elton John’s 1972 Ferrari Daytona

As the legend goes, Sir Elton John decided to reward himself for the success of “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road” with this shiny new 1972 Ferrari 365GTB/4 Daytona. This car is one of only 158 original right-hand drive vehicles and was supposedly John’s first foray into Ferrari ownership. He sold the car a few years later. It ended up in private collector hands for a few decades. Sir Elton John’s Ferrari Daytona was originally sold at auction by Silverstone in 2017 to private collector James Harris. Sadly, Mr. Harris passed away, but that means this Ferrari Daytona with 4.4-liter 4-cam V12 that develops 352bhp and can hit a top speed of 175mph is once again crossing the auction block at Silverstone at the end of September. This time around, the 1972 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona is expected to fetch up to $600,000, which is around $75k less than it sold for last time.
