We’ve seen some pretty great automotive barn finds over the years, but nothing like this 1959 Volkswagen Deluxe 23 Window Bus that was unearthed in the woods of Oregon. This bus has been restored both inside and out with a straightened body painted to factory two-tone white-over-red paint, period-correct interior panels, seat-cover materials, and a remanufactured 4-cylinder engine packing a whopping 40 horsepower. This incredibly unique bus is also outfitted with a new mohair headliner, rebuilt front beam and independent suspension. Since restoration, the bus that won Best Luxury Bus at the 2017 Kelley Park Vintage Volkswagen Show has traveled less than 200 miles. If you win the auction you’ll also get a collection of more than 400 photographs that tell the story of the restoration and a Volkswagen Certificate of Authenticity.
