Toyota Fuel Cell Vehicle

The 2014 CES is firmly underway in Las Vegas and it is all about the buzz. Generating more than its fair share is the Toyota Fuel Cell Vehicle or FVC for short. Yep, that’s its name – we will just assume that Toyota will give it a more creative name as it becomes closer to reality. But they did not waste any creativity is its powerplant. Now we are not scientists (obviously) but allegedly hydrogen gas goes into a fuel stack where it mingles with oxygen to produce electricity. This in turn powers a electric motor – the same motor from the Prius. Ok, thanks for the lesson in whatever. What it really means is that Toyota has created a vehicle with a driving experience similar to a gasoline engine that spits nothing but water vapor out the tailpipe. Green? Yep. The name? come on Toyota, you can do better.
