This Hand-Built Hovercraft Looks like a DeLorean

There are a lot of classic cars we grew up longing for. Sure there are plenty of Lambos and Ferraris on the list, but when it comes to cool cars from the ’80s, the DeLorean is one of our absolute favorites. We thought there was no way to improve on the iconic stainless best with its gull-wing doors and performance in Back to the Future. But then someone went and hand-built a hovercraft that looks just like the DMC-12 of our dreams. Originally built from 2008 – 2012 and continuously improved upon since then, this is a handmade work of art that just so happens to be able to glide over anything relatively flat at a top speed of up to 31mph. It even includes a custom flatbed trailer that tilts to make it easy to take out whenever you want. And yes, before you ask, there’s a flux capacitor button. Even better, 10% of the sale will benefit the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinsons Research.
