In case the knighthood wasn’t indication enough, British fashion designer Sir Paul Smith is an icon. One of the things he’s most known for is his eclectic use of bold colors throughout his designs. He’s been branching out from the world of fashion for as long as we can remember, but we’ve never been as impressed by one of his creations as we were by the Land Rover Defender he designed a few years ago. The one-off Land Rover x Paul Smith Defender featured over 25 different colors, was on display outside the Paul Smith store in London and now resides in the designer’s garage. If you always wanted to own one of your own–and who wouldn’t?–the unique Defender now comes in two die cast collector’s editions scale models with matching exterior paint jobs, functional steering, opening doors and hood, and even a working suspension. The Paul Smith + Land Rover Defender die cast collector’s edition model comes in both 1:43 scale ($75) and 1:18 scale ($199).
