You may remember the Ford GT. It was Ford’s supercar from 2005 which landed on the front of Gran Turismo. It was a gas guzzling specimen for the ages inspired by the GT40 of Le Mans fame. And after some fanfare, it went away. Well, Ford went ahead and brought the GT back, and it’s pretty damn stunning. Just unveiled at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show, the new Ford GT is packed with a 600 HP twin-turbo, 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 that should strike fear in the hearts of other highway racers. With the aim to be one of the best power-to-weight ratio production rides, the team designed the new GT with carbon fiber body panels and aluminum. Production begins late next year.
