Earlier this week during an investor meeting, Elon Musk let it slip that Tesla would be releasing a pickup truck by year’s end. Despite the fact it’s nothing more than a rumor at this point, we’re all for Tesla levels of torque and ride comfort in a vehicle perfect for the weekend warrior. This is not that truck. This is a concept published on Behance by car designer Emre Husmen out of Turkey. As you can clearly tell from the way he translated the Tesla design language into a completely new vehicle–as opposed to just stretching an existing car, adding a bed and slapping on some bigger wheels–Husmen is a professional automotive designer. Whether it’s rendered in silver, black, red, blue or gunmetal, this Model P concept has just about everything we’d want from a Tesla pickup truck in the looks department. If we were Musk, we’d just hire him and put it into production.
