We love a good pedal-powered commute as much as the next guy, but there’s something to be said for the ability to go on a lunch time joyride or head out to dinner without having to break a sweat. That’s where a good e-bike comes in. The biggest problem with e-bikes is trying to blend form with function in a way that doesn’t look like a Frankenstein-ed original or something too futuristic. As Tempus Electric Bikes with their new Titan R, the solution was always to go vintage. The Titan R Electric Bike is made with aircraft grade steel and is powered by a 1000W hub motor and a removable lithium ion battery. This gives it a top speed of 28 mph and a 40+ mile range. Factor in dual crown suspension, 26″ all terrain tires and dual disc brakes to check all the performance boxes. But the most notable feature about the bike is the vintage cafe racer styling complete with customizable tank and leather motorcycle seat. This is one e-bike we wouldn’t mind being seen riding in public.
