Seeing as how a new electric motorcycle drops just about every month these days, it’s important to stand apart from the new crowd. That’s exactly what New York-based Tarform has done with their Swedish-designed plug-in moto. Dark and beautiful, the bike features 3D printing technology for the big side panels that flank the battery and motor, as well as the headlight housing. The digital instrument display is simple but vivid, fitting nicely with the overall ethos of the bike. But it’s not all futurism here, since the tank and other parts have been meticulously hand-formed and sculpted, along with a retro-style stitched and riveted brown leather seat. There are no pricing or tech specs available now, but $3K deposits are being accepted for a special Collector Edition or you can simply sign up for the regular production version.
