Renard Speed Shop 1979 BMW R80/7 Scrambler

Renard Speed Shop 1979 BMW R80/7 Scrambler

True scramblers are more than just based on looks. This redone Beemer R80/7 has received the full treatment from Estonian-based Renard Speed Shop. The bike was meant to pay homage to the famed International Six Days Trial (ISDT) that began in 1913 in Carlisle, England. The trial was a test of rider and bike over some challenging terrain. Renard gave the bike a long travel front fork, a 21″ wheel from a CZ motocross bike, an extended rear swingarm, and a stiffer rear shock, all for true off-road capability. Custom parts like a new exhaust, Parafanghi Bastia fenders, hand-crafted aluminum number plates, high-rise scrambler bars, a tool roll, and perforated heat shields give the scrambler a truly vintage rugged beauty.
